Glass House incorporates an open plan learning and work ethic, encouraging intra-spatial interaction.
This can be seen in the minimal use of wall structures, rejecting the modern axiom that architecture needs to be physically erected in order to exist. Instead, through changes in volumes, a change in purpose of each 'room' is suggested.
Further compounding this suggestion is the change in natural lighting that can be seen whilst transversing the bridge structure between Tyree and the Square House, providing a comfortable work environment with appropriate levels of lighting.
As a result of the lack of boundaries, a truly multipurpose and yet specific space is born; The Glass House.

the hidden underground world
to my great irritation and dissatisfaction, I've discovered that Lumion in all its glory, is unable to sufficiently render an underground basement level with my current understanding of it. As such, I find myself unable to present an intended secondary element as intended.
Originally, an expanding elevator, able to restructure itself across different floors was planned between the entry point, mezzanine level and the lower Theatre floor. However, as the lower floor is impossible to access on Lumion there is a loss in drama of the elevator as it travels between floors.

How do we create a sustainable design that prioritizes diverse and interesting spaces with great visual quality and daylight conditions? How do we make a building move?

The layout and letting of the building reflect an aspiration to create a sociable and collaborative work environment. Functionalism, more a method than an end, became a gateway to eliciting architectural desire. Flexible spaces for primary workspace functions transform an element of sheer utility into a decisive architectonic component, cost-effectively build[ing] new creative workspace.
Raw aesthetics,differentiated spatial sizes, layers of visual connections through the building and great daylight conditions without internal partitions, to allow each space to be adapted for different uses. Artificial light is minimized, independently remarkable if often overlooked.
Views of the exterior are always present; even across the building; decorative, celebratory, that would activate a feeling of connectivity.

Reflection:
The purposeful amalgamation of curvilinear and rectilinear forms create a community viewing area and marker that can be glimpsed by passing motorists. The red mountainous form evokes thoughts of the indigenous peoples and the red land they inhabit.
